If You Want Claude to Build n8n Workflows, Do This First

I didn’t need another “AI agents” demo. I needed ONE setup that actually works.

Last week I had 14 tabs open: MCP explainers, n8n templates, GitHub repos, “best prompts,” the whole circus. Every video made it look easy—type one sentence, boom, an agent runs your life.
I believed it… until I tried to build something real. Not a toy workflow. Something I’d trust with emails, tasks, and follow-ups.

The problem wasn’t the idea. It was the setup friction.
MCP wouldn’t show up. Credentials failed. Config files felt like a trap. And the worst part: even when something almost worked, I couldn’t tell if I was one step away from “done” or one mistake away from wasting my entire night.
So I did what everyone does: saved the link and told myself “later.”

I rebuilt the whole thing like an operator: one clean launch pad, zero guessing.
It’s a short checklist that gets you from Claude Desktop → MCP connected → n8n tools visible → first workflow generated without the rabbit holes.

If you want Claude to generate usable n8n workflows today, grab the free MCP Launch Pad here:
Outcome: you’ll have MCP connected and your first workflow drafted in under an hour.

Next issue: I’ll share the first “boring but high-ROI” agent to build (the one that actually survives real life).

Started shipping products from Amazon to eBay buyers. I made sales. Decent ones. But I made no profit. Here's what I learned too late: this model is for people with deep...

It sits in your chats (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, even iMessage) and actually does stuff on your behalf. It: • remembers what you told it yesterday •...
